Very good Mexican food, too expensive. Upscale Mexican restaurant, on Blackstone, north of Shaw. Very nice atmosphere, with covered patio, pastel walls. Acceptable service. Great margaritas, available in numerous flavors. The menu here, is quite large, with many choices. Everything that I have had here has been good to excellent. This was never an inexpensive restaurant. The last time I was here, they had a new menu with significant price increases. I thought prices were too expensive for what you received.

Best Margarita's. You can get the best margarita's around at either Plaza location. The food for some reason does taste better at the Shaw & Marks location but the setting is much nicer at the Blackstone location. My favorite dishes were the fish tacos but they recently changed the type of fish they use so I'm not sure what they taste like now. But there Nachos Rancheros are awesome (also no longer on the menu). They have chips neatly layed out around the plate with beans, cheese & meat on each chip, guacamole & sour cream are served on the side. I also love their Mango Chicken Salad & Chimichanga's. Portions are great and chips & salsa are really good as well.

Not Worth It. Went there with a group of 15. Had 2 pitchers of margaretias and they charged $25 each. A year ago they were $14. My wife ordered chicken enchiladas (ala carte) but got cheese and paid the full dinner price. They just lost the regular business of a group of 10-15 people that dine once a week.

Upscale Mexican Food. Very good food with some nice items like a red snapper dish that rocks. Outstanding margaritas as well. On an off night service is at least very good.
