Clovis >Andiamo Ristorante Italiano
Most Authentic. I started off with the Caprese appetizer which had soft, fresh mozarella, basil, tomato and a balsamic glaze. The minestrone tasted like my grandmother's homemade chicken soup. Fresh and good. My entree was the Vermicelli with Olive Oil and Spicy Red Pepper. I had this entree many times in Italy and this recipe was so similar. Lots of flavor with a slight kick. I had the privilege of meeting the owner who was eager to hear of my travels and very welcoming.
Dissapointed in business dinner.. Overly salty Piccatta, bland Minestrone, and poor plating presentations were a dead giveaway that the highly recomended comments that I had been given in advance were misplaced. Service was great, no issues there. Staff was friendly, knowledgeble and seemed appreciative of our visit. It was unfortunate that the kitchens offerings did not match.
Great service!. I absolutely love Andiamo! I eat there on a regular basis and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and the food is always great. Try the rigatoni scarpata. It is a spicy pasta dish that is unlike any Italian food I've ever tasted. Everyone should try it!!!
If you miss Andiamo Ristorante Italiano your cheating yourself!. Best Cioppino in town? You got it! Found right here at Andiamo. I bring my family here several times a month. The food is fantastic. I haven't found a dish I didn't like yet. Friendly owners and a super-nice staff is always a plus and is definately not lacking here. When we moved here, I scoured the area looking for an Italian restaraunt that served food like my grandparents from the old country. It was a harder task than anticipated, that is until I found Carlo Paolilli in the kitchen. I couldn't believe the similarities in the food. If you are a fine wine enthusiast, don't worry, they have got that covered too! Andiamo ristorante has a superb wine selection. My wife and I can usually be seen enjoying a great bottle of wine with an unbelievably tasty dinner, authentic desserts followed by a freshly made espresso. Great food! Friendly people! Fun conversation with old friends and new, and the atmosphere?!....I'm on my way down there right now! See you there.......Ciao! "D"
Great!. We were across the street at the new movie theater and thought we will give them a try. I don't think they have been there long. We had an amazing dinner. The food was great and the service was awesome. I had the chicken parmigian and it was perfect. My son said the pizza was really good. My husband had the salmon special (can't remember the name) said it tased very fresh and had great flavour. My lemon drop martini was great. It is a really cute place. The dessert menu looked great, but we didnt have room, next time. We will be there soon.
Great personnel and dining atmosphere but mediocre tomata sauce now!. The best Italian ristorante in Fresno, bar none - until the owner changed the flavor of his tomato sauce. Gone is the dry, vegetable-like tangy taste that complements a sip of wine or beer. It has been replaced with a sweet and exceptionally bland flavor that begs a sip to enhance it. Alas, I will sincerely miss the fine personnel and atmosphere, both of which are perfect for dinner and conversation with friends.
