Bad Business/ defective dress. I purchased a dress fron the owner Vera who at the time was nice and willing to take my money. Then when I got the dress home I got to thinking that I did not have time to alter it myself. So I called and scheduled an appointment for the next day to have it altered. When I put the dress on I then noticed that it didn't look right. Because I also do alot of sewing I carry a tape measure so I measured the sleeves and one was two inches shorter than the other one. I showed it to Vera and she said she couldn't fix that for me. She didn't offer any resolution at all. She said she could not take it back and that I took the dress home already so the problem was mine. After many calls to other bridal shops in town and every one telling me that since it was defective she should have taken it back I called her and all she could say was oh well. I just want to warn every one out there that she is not a good business person and very dishonest. She should have made this right. Money does not grow on trees and for some one to treat customers this way and over a hundred dollar dress in bad. Not only was the dress defected but she did not tell me at the time of the purchase that I signed a reciept saying that she would not take something back even if it there was a problem.
