Fresno >Dai Bai Dang Restaurant Inc
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!.
I love this place! Have always had nothing but exceptional service even when they were extremely busy. On one occasion we were even given an entire plate of shrimp to "try a new creation" it was amazing!
I believe that the person who gave the previous review was unable to control the baby that was with her. Of course, you would hope that the people at the table next to you would offer a balloon. I know I would have, but it all boils down to the child throwing the fit which caused your experience to be less than enjoyable.
good food horrible service. I brought my grandbaby whos 21 months old and daughter from out of town to try the restaurant. I requested a table outside because of the baby. They had maybe four tables set up the rest were reserved for a large party we had to eat inside. They put us at a table next to another large party that was celebrating a birthday, the party table had lots of balloons. My grandbaby loves balloons and is used to getting a balloon from restaurants. She had a fit when she wanted one of their balloons pointing at the table asking for a balloon. I had to take her out of restaurant I requested a move to a outdoor table to pull her away from the table next to us, but they refused to move us. I ended up boxing up my food and taking it home. Two things could have solved the problem, 1 if i was the one that had the balloons I would have been gracious enough to give one of the small ones to the baby after all the birthday party was for a 50 year old. If I was a staff member I would have found another table. I love the food but after my experience customer service is lacking or maybe familys are not welcome. Service is #1 more important than the quality of food. I have been a customer for couple of years even telling people at work how great this restaurant is. No more I'll never step foot in there again or recommend this restaurant. The tables that were reserved outside were still sitting empty when we left.
Our waitress was too busy, or simply not paying attention... Waitress (cami) was overwelmed; she did not check on us, not refilled our drinks. She also over charged us (added an item we did not order). Funny thing...we only had drinks & appitizer (not too difficult).
Really GREAT FOOD and a VARIED menu. My daughter and I stumbled across this place last weekend and was amazed at the variety of items on the menu. We ordered several items and all were GREAT and the price is reasonable which made it even better. The service was excellant! Our Ribs were taking a bit of time to come out and they were more concerned about it than us. Overall it was great and we will be back!
Best Asian Food In Fresno!!. The food is incredible and is reasonabley priced. The atmosphere and staff are also very pleasant and the restaurant offers nice patio dining.
Outrageously Delicious Asian Food!!!!. There is no other restaurant in Fresno (or anywhere for that matter) that has such wonderful, authentic Asian food!!! Dai Bai Dang's menu is diverse and offers flavorfull foods from all ao Asia. The ambience is nice, hip yet not overly young. The service is a good as it comes!!! The flavors are memorable, and not like the cookie cutter PF Changs food you can get anywhere. The locations is fab for Fresno...Parking in the parking structure was close to the restaurant. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DAI BAI DANG!!!!
Great food for all palates. Dai Bai Dang is a great place to take a date, or the entire family. The interior is warm and welcoming, the food is always fresh and delights your senses. You can be adventurous too and try some of the chef's newest creations. There is no other Asian restaurant that I've tried that compares to Dai Bai Dang. I've been to P.F. Chang's and they have spent a lot of money on the looks of the place, but the food is bland and very so, so. You will certainly spend less at Dai Bai Dang but you'll think you should pay more!!! I've seen many families bring young children to DBD so it is definitely kid friendly. Smiling hostesses and servers will gladly take care of you too.
satisfaction guaranteed. I was pleased with the quality and service and not to mention there friendly staff.
If dinner at the Riverpark sounds good then don't miss this casual cafe that serves both traditional and adventurous Chinese fare..
Dress semi-casually for a meal at this Chinese cafe. Located at the Riverpark, this is a great spot for an after-movie dinner.
Dai Bai Dang's comprehensive menu includes many traditional favorites. For the more adventurous diner, though, there's Wok-Braised Filet of Sole in Black Bean Sauce and Crispy Duck Smoked in Chiang Tsai Tea. Try the California Spring Rolls or Beijing Small Pork Dumplings for an appetizer and have a drink from their large selection of wines, champagne, and beer (imports and exports) or hot tea.
Dish to Die For
Try Honey-Glazed Shrimp and Carmelized Walnuts or Filet Mignon with Black Pepper Hoisin Sauce.Originally
Atmosphere rocks, food OK. Dai Bai Dang has kind of regressed. When it first opened, the food was some of the best Asian I had ever had. They used to do a sweet & sour pork that was crispy, in a raspberry sauce. It was the most unique and tasty thing I ever had. I was VERY disappointed when I went back, ordered it, and now they only serve generic, run of the mill sweet and sour pork like you can get in ANY cheap Chinese restaurant. The potstickers are good, but what made this place great was it was different from most Asian restaurants recipes. As time has gone on, they seem to have become just like any other Chinese restaurant. The place looks great, but the food is so-so now.
