The Apricot Tree is great! My wife and
I stopped today on our trip down south and we have no regrets. My wife had the New York Steak with a baked potato
and I had the T-bone steak with mashed potatoes. Both steaks were very tasty and very juicy. They were also cooked perfectly as to how we ordered them.
Our plates also came with carrots and brocolli and they were delicious. Our waiter was making sure that we were well taken care off and that we were getting
everything we needed. All in all our dining experience at The Apricot Tree was a good one. No more Harris Ranch for us, we'll be stopping at The Apricot Tree!

I have read nehative reviews about this
place and still I decided to try it out. The food was actually pretty good and the service was excellent. I ordered the tuna melt sandwich with onion rings and it has to be one of the best tuna melts I've had in a long time. The onion rings were pretty delicious too. I also ordered a slice of apricot pie and it too was delicious. I don't understand why people bash on this place as it is a good restaurant.

Today we made a stop on our road trip
at the Apricot Tree. I just want to say that this has got to be one of the best breakfast places we've been to in a while. My friends ordered Apricot Pancakes and he said they were delicious. They looked perfectly cooked and the apricots looked fresh. My girlfriend had the Apricots Creation Omelette and it was delicious. I had the Denver Omelette and it was very tasty as well. The hashbrowns were cooked to how we liked them. The service was pretty awesome too and the gift shop was pretty cool. We'll make sure to stop by next time we are on I-5.

The Apricot Tree restaurant is a great
place. The waiters were very attentive and they provided great service. The food was ordered and we received our order in a timely manner. I ordered their chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and my husband ordered a New York steak. My chicken fried steak tasted really good and the mash and vegetables I received with my order were great too. My husband's steak was cooked to his liking and his baked potato and vegetables looked good as well. The gift shop was pretty neat and offered a wide selection of different things we could buy. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone especially if you're traveling on I-5 and do not want to stop at a fast food joint.

We stopped six months ago on our way to
San Diego at The Apricot Tree Restaurant. We loved the food and the lunch boxes were pretty neat around the restaurant. We stopped again this past Sunday and we had the same experience as we did last time. The food was great and the service was awesome. The Apricot Pie was pretty delicious. I made it a point to write a review this time around since the service and deliciousness of the food has been consistent.

Good food with good service.
I don't understand why a lot of people bash on this place. The food is delicious. I ordered a Hungry Farmers burger and I thought it to be pretty good. The prices weren't bad at all and the service was awesome. The place is clean and I found the gift shop to be pretty cool, they had a lot of neat things for sale. I would definately return to the Apricot Tree and I would recommend it to anyone.

Vintage Atmosphere with Great Food.
On my way to San Diego, I happened to stop at this little restaurant called the Apricot Tree. Needless to say, this has been a great dining experience for me. I ordered the steak and eggs and it was delicious. The steak was to the exact specifications that I ordered it. The eggs were perfect and the hashbrowns were excellent! The fact that they take breakfast orders in the afternoon is very convenient too. The service was awesome! Never had an empty glass of soda. The atmosphere is pretty cool too with the old school lunch boxes on display alongside the thermos. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Best Apricot Pie.
While most food is a decent but ordinary diner food, this place has the best handmade apricot pies. I live in Los Angeles, and every time my wife and I go to Bay Area we make a point to stop by to pick up a pie. The pies are that good.
Lunchboxes in the dinning room provide a great atmosphere.

More interesting decor than McDonald's.
Food is definitely not their forte. However, for some strange reasons, my 11 years old daughter loves the place and everytime that we're heading up and down the I5, we have to stop for lunch or dinner. The place has a nostalgic atmosphere which uses quirky vintage metal lunch boxes as their decor...the kinds that we used to carry when we were kids. There is also a small and eclectic general store where you can buy overpriced shiny pebbles or that cowboy hat that you've been wanting. Although I rate this place a 2-stars for food, I would rate this a 5-stars for my daughter's enjoyment.

worst restaurant we ever had a meal at.
Now we know why the parking lot was empty when we got there.they served us the worst breakfast we have ever had. The scambeld eggs were like rubber and the hash browns under cooked. The server came by three times and only asked if we wanted more coffee. The coffee was also awfull. THe best part of our meal was the toast. It seems like they know we are only going to eat there once so they don't care how bad the food is.Your best option is to eat at the Mcdonalds next door and also save yourself alot of money.
