This small, diverse museum presents something for everyone; there's pre-Columbian art, photography from Ansel Adams, and child-friendly art exhibits. – The Scene
Although small in comparison to loftier museums in the Bay Area or Los Angeles, this eclectic gallery uses every inch of its limited space for maximum effect, displaying three or four separate exhibits at any given time.
Children are always welcome at the Childspace Art Museum, a program held Saturday and Sunday afternoons that encourages little ones to explore the diversity and fun of art. Family activities, art created by children, and scoring sessions are held. The program is free and docents are provided to make sure every child is allowed to participate.
Color etchings from Elisabeth Dean and pre-Columbian sculpture from Mexico are on-hand, as well as an Ansel Adams photo exhibit. Patrons can enjoy a variety of subjects and a diverse selection of art styles, each one a different world.
