What does it matter if he uses a lift to do a simple oil change? Thomas you sound like a guy born with a silver spoon in your mouth. Do you expect your mechanics to be super models? No, people call them grease monkeys for a reason. I just recently had an oil change, tire rotation and smog all done in 45 minutes. I was very impressed with the service. I brought a coupon so the price was great too. If you don't mind having mechanically informed average looking guys work on you car this is the place. Otherwise go to Abercrombie in Fashion Fair Mall and ask one of the models if they know anything about car maintenance. Maybe you'll get lucky!

Don't not come to this place!! Came to this shop to get a mechanic to change my oil with professional equipment. I get Joe Schmoe changing my oil with a hand jack in the parking lot. My car was pulled into the hydraulic lift but them removed once the mechanics friend came with his car. If I knew I was gonna get this treatment and two hour wait, I would have done the oil change myself!! Will never come back.

Friendly and professional. I took my car there for repairs last week and tech who serviced my car fixed problem for less money than I was expecting to pay and fast too. And when I went to pay bill the cashier whose name is Robert was professional and was pleasant to deal with.

great auto repair shop!. Im a single mom trying to get by. I was upset when my car just died in the middle of traffic. I had no clue what I was going to do I was already having a hard time trying to cover the bills that I have. A friend of mine refered me to northgate shell and said just call them they will get a tow truck out there right away and they are reasonable on repairs.So I did they sent a tow right away. I didnt have time to wait to see what was wrong with my car cause I needed to get to work so the owner offered me a ride to work then said he will have his guy call when the found the problem. It turned out to be my alternator. they were very helpful and caring. I didnt feel like I was being taken advance of in price, I will be going there from now on Thank you Northgate shell for your great service!

Not recommended in any way. I took my vehicle in for a fuel pump replacement, largely because they were the only place open nearby that was open on a Sunday.

They failed to complete the work on Sunday, forcing me to rent a vehicle (which would be fine, if they had told me from the start that they wouldn't be able to secure the fuel pump on a Sunday). They also broke the locking mechanism on my parking brake - and refused to acknowledge their fault or repair it.

I obviously won't be returning.
