BEST CHINESE RESTUARNT. BEst Szchuan spicey food i ever had! no other restaurnt in FRESNO can BEat the szchuan food that chef Liu can make !!!!! i Guarantee it! i also see many other chefs eat in that restaurnt so OF course its good! if you want to try something different Dont get the typical orange beef or Lemon chicken TRY SUMTHING THAT IS EXCITING!!!!!

Great food at affordable prices. We were a group of nine. We got prompt service, excellent food. We ordered 7 different dishes to share. The fried pork, sweet and sour chicken, butter shrimp, beef chow mein, fried rice, beef and green bean, everything was excellent, and devoured. All that and I got out for $60 plus tip.

Average consistency. The dumplings were good one day and barely passable the next (too dry). Some standard dishes like noodles are done well and then quite different the next time. This may be due to being prepared by different cooks. Restaurant decor is excellent. Service can vary (on the three times I visited this restaurant). Cost is slightly higher than an average Chinese restaurant in this area but compensated by a comfortable environment for groups of 3 and up.

Bocuse D'Or Silver Medalist Chef!!. We were immediately struck by the fact the Chef in this place is a Bocuse D'Or Silver Medalist. If you don't know what that means check it out. In all visits to Hunan we have the food to be extremely flavorful, even such things that one usually takes for granted such as the wonton soup, incredible flavors. The Chinese menus are loaded with tons of adventurous fare and should be tried. Great flavors. Only down side we have heard is that sometimes the Chef isn't cooking and food can be inconsistent.

Best Chinese I've Found So Far. After eating at Hunan you will find that all the other Chinese you have been eating is only mediocre. I had the Chicken Fried Rice, Combination Lo Mein, Brocolli and Beef, and Sweet and Sour Chicken and it was all amazing. The flavors where rich and fresh, and all the items I ordered where very good. I especially recommend the Brocolli and Beef though as it was probably the best I have ever had. Note, this restaurant is kind of tucked away in the Shopping Complex, but what it lacks in outward apperance it seems to make up for in food quality. Oh yea and the portions are pretty big, so 4 items can diffenaitely feed 4 or 5 big eaters no problem.
