I'm Italian and am used to home-cooked Italian meals, so it's rare that I ever dine out for this type of food. I was hesitant to go here for just that reason, but I was SO pleasantly surprised when the food arrived. The presentation was great and the taste was even better. I will definitely be a regular customer!
Come to Primavera for world-class Italian food made from the freshest ingredients around.. The Scene: It's no surprise that Primavera is one of Fresno's best Italian restaurants; owner and chef Giancarlo Primavera was formerly of Giulia's Italian restaurant, and Giulia's drew quite a crowd with Primavera at the helm. The setting at Primavera is casual but elegant, with white linen tablecloths and oversized wine glasses, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Specials change daily but often include a fresh fish selection in addition to various pasta, chicken, seafood, and veal dishes. You won't be disappointed.
If you order one thing: When available, try Primavera's outstanding Cioppino (fish stew)
