It hurts me to read these positive reviews about the Ray Linker Financial Group. They did not give me that kind of help. Makes me wonder who really wrote them? I met with the owner and he asked for a very large amount to help me with my loved one to try and get medical help from the state. He said that the fee included everything. Shortly after he told me I had to pay $5000 to a lawyer friend of his to draft up some papers. That wasn't what he told me when he was giving me a song and dance to get my business.  I feel he was not honest with me and was taking advantage of my desperate situation.  I wishI would have goggled them and done my homework, then I would have found out that the owner had large financial leans from both the state and federal government. Yes it was in the past but not that long ago.  The fact of the matter is I don't trust this company and I don't trust the positive reviews.

This company should be selling used cars not financial advise. I went with another company that didn't try doing a hard sell on me. And they were much more professional. DO YOUR RESEARCH before you give anyone access to your money.

It is a relief to the family to have this approved. Although the County took its time, I must say I am glad that we chose the Linker Financial Group to handle this for us. It definitely took the stress of dealing with a government agency out of it for us.



It was a somewhat difficult decision for Candace and I when it came down to whether we should try and do this ourselves or hire someone to help us with this. We had interviewed others, but were not quite sure what we should do since we had no experience of this kind to draw upon.



Should you need any references for future clients, please feel free to offer my name and phone number. Possibly Candace or I can help someone else feel comfortable with making the decision to obtain the services of Linker as we did.

I regret meeting him. This is my second review of The Ray Linker Financial Group. Reason being is this;

Our first review was written after the owner / company refuse to give us a refund of the several thousand of dollars they ask for up front. The fee agreement, said we CAN cancel in writing, and that $1,000 would be retained for Administrative costs. However when we asked for a refund a week later. We received an email from the owner which stated "I don't agree with her cancellation. She agreed to a flat rate and there will be no refund."

So we wrote a review and place it on a few websites. But before we could place them on any other sites, The Ray Linker Financial Group contacted us and our attorney to negotiate a settlement if we would remove the reviews.

Also coincidently the same time they found our negative reviews, two positive reviews by Geri G. & Leslie L. went up on the exact same sites we placed our negative reviews on and the exact same day Sept 13, 2011. Coincidence? I don't think so, but I’ll let you decide.

In good faith we removed the reviews that is when things became worse. Ray Linker continued to drag things along very slowly.

His last email to us which was on the same weekend our family member died, was a very arrogant message, “Take it or leave it!!!!!” offering less than half of what he owed us, not including legal fees.

So now I’m writing my second review to help those who are looking for someone to take care of there love ones estate or there own financial situation. So they can know what we are going through and would learn from our mistakes. For example I recently learned through public records that Ray Linker had a Federal Tax Lien for $164,257.00 and a $38,407.83 lien by the state of California. If we had known that before we met with him, we would have cancelled our meeting because how can anyone trust their money with someone who has those type of financial issues.
