AMAZING. This gym is such a big improvement especially with the new owners. New equiptment and the staff is excellent. i go to workout not to socialize with the GM. I love the fact that they have no contracts! check it out def!!

Despite its Hollywood connections, this franchise's focus is on pumping iron, not newfangled razzle-dazzle.. In Short
The Terminator and the Incredible Hulk (aka Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno) lifted weights at the gym's Venice, California, flagship years ago, but even today, customers frequenting charter locations are bound to encounter serious muscle. Take note: The boys with bulging biceps are the mascots, not the majority. Gold's generally offers Spinning, aerobics and kickboxing classes, yet weight-training remains the core of the program. Dumbbells and barbells, not spa-like amenities, are the attractions that draw the beef-heads in droves.

AVOID COMPLETELY. This gym is very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Management uses personal standards on gym limitations. General Manager is selfish and unfriendly, he appears to think he is better than others!!! The atmosphere is surrounded by "clicky" and "snobby" staff that follow the GM around like his little pets. I would not recommend this gym to anyone, because your experience will be awful. This gym is not a family environment and does not have the nature of helping others meet their personal goals!

great basic gym. this is what a gym is supposed to be. good classes, good equipment, full of people who just want to work out. totally friendly, unpretentious atmosphere. love it!
