Poor Service.
The service was poor and inattentive. We were left alone at table for over an hour without anyone checking on us. We hardly ate our food because the burgers we ordered had no taste, we then waited to order ice cream but were unable to because no one came to our table for over 45 minutes after bringing us our meal. This is the second time in a row this has happened to us. Disappointingly, we left without leaving a tip - something I have never done. I would not go back to this place. You can find better food and service anywhere.

One of the best burgers in Fresno - Great for breakfast too.
Awesome Burger! Good solid breakfast food as well. Great Tower location. Highly Recommend it. The service is good and we've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes or so for a table.

Irene's is primarily a sandwich shop with an island theme, booths, and small tables..
The Scene:
The dress at Irene's is casual, so wear what you would wear to any other diner and sit outside on the spacious patio. Irene's recently started serving breakfast from 7am-11am Monday through Friday and from 8am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday; the only obvious deviation from typical breakfast fare is the addition of tortillas and chorizo. Sandwiches make up the bulk of the lunch and dinner menu, including selections like the Rio, made with hot smoked ham and melted Swiss cheese on a Basque roll and the Bahama Club, white turkey breast with crisp bacon, ripe avocado and cream cheese. From the grill you might order a double cheeseburger or a simple quesadilla. Fries and onion rings are available, and for light eaters, salads can be ordered too.
If you order one thing:
Try the Riviera, a hot roast beef sandwich with dipping juice.
